The Journey Story
My journey with dance began at just three years old, evolving from a childhood passion as a competitive dancer into a lifelong calling. Following in the footsteps of my mom, who has been a dedicated educator her entire life, I fell in love with teaching during high school. This passion led me to Ohio University (OU Oh Yeah!), where I earned my degree in Dance—focusing on choreography, pedagogy, performance, and production—before obtaining a Master’s in Arts Administration with a specialization in community dance.
Today, I am incredibly grateful to be back in the studio world doing what I love most. I’ve always believed that dance goes far beyond steps and technique; it is truly about the meaningful connections we build with one another. The vibrant community of dancers, families, and fellow educators we create here is what makes this work so fulfilling, and I am honored to share this journey with you.
