Competition Company Intensives
Our Competition Company Intensives are the official launch of our competition season! This is an exciting opportunity for our faculty to work closely with every dancer, finalize company placements, and spark new creative inspiration for the upcoming year.
Event Details & Logistics:
Requirement: Mandatory for all Competition Company dancers.
Daily Schedule: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Lunch break from 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM)
Flexible Attendance: Dancers must select one day to attend on either Saturday, August 8th or Sunday, August 9th.
Bonus Pass: Interested in extra training? Dancers are welcome to attend both days for the price of one!
Cost: $140, which includes lunch!
Competition Company Kick Off
Let’s celebrate the start of a fantastic new season! Our Kickoff Event brings dancers and families together to get inspired, connect, and set the stage for an incredible year ahead.
Schedule & Event Highlights:
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Family Meeting: Essential season guidelines, details, and expectations for all parents and dancers.
4:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Team Celebration: Dancers stay on site for professional team photos, music, food, dancing, and team bonding!
8:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Pickup Window: Flexible pickup time for all dancers following the festivities.
Family Fun Night
Journey Dance & Twirl Co invites all of our dancers and their families to our first annual Family Fun Night! By attending the event, dancers will be entered into a raffle to win a free dance costume! We will have pizza, snacks, drinks, music, dancing, photo booth, & more fun. New merchandise will be available to purchase for the whole family.
Company Halloween Party
We invite all dancers to the first annual Journey Dance & Twirl Co Halloween Party! Wear your costume and bring a bag to collect treats. We will have face painting, food, treats, music, dancing, and fun!
Christmas In Springboro Parade
All company dancers are invited to join us at the Christmas in Springboro Parade! You must RSVP for the parade by October 30th. *Parade is mandatory for our competition company dancers.
Winter Wonderland Class Parties
We are excited to host winter wonderland class parties for all of our recreation company and Dance United classes. Our faculty will have fun games, treats, and more to celebrate the season! Dancers may wear any festive clothing as long as it is safe for movement.
